Several McKesson Health Systems experts recently attended the , a leading industry gathering that brings together thousands of stakeholders across the specialty pharmacy ecosystem—including health systems, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and solution providers—to explore the future of prescription access, patient care, and pharmacy innovation.

Across our discussions, several themes were reinforced, including a growing focus on specialty and infusion capabilities to support increasingly complex therapies, such as rare and first-in-class treatments. Conversations highlighted how health systems are continuing to prioritize the expansion of these programs to meet evolving patient and operational needs—while driving meaningful outcomes for the business of pharmacy.

Data and connectivity also emerged as key focus areas, with discussions highlighting the need for more connected insights to support decision-making and program growth. As these needs continue to evolve, the ability to align data, capabilities, and execution remains critical to helping organizations move forward with clarity and confidence—and to achieve more in an increasingly complex environment.

Throughout the summit, McKesson engaged across customers, manufacturers, and partners to support conversations around access, dispensing, and program alignment. These interactions reflected the importance of connecting insights and capabilities to help health systems navigate complexity and take a more coordinated approach to advancing their strategies.

As organizations continue to scale and adapt, the opportunity to bring together insights, partnerships, and execution remains essential. It’s how we help the business of pharmacy achieve more for the advancement of patient health.
